Short-film work by Joaquim Barreto
Synopsis: This is a short documentary following emerging artist, Christian Kerrigan, during his six months as the first digital artist in residence at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, UK, in early 2010. Cradled in the strong, historical arms of this renowned museum, the young man is able to take tentative, ephemeral, musing steps in his journey towards defining himself as an artist and developing a language through which to speak. The film documents the quietly profound moments of discovery that occur inside the glass studio and as the artist wanders along the water's edge, deep in contemplation about man's relationship with nature, technology, and time. It is a film about not knowing, about learning, and living.
